I thought this presentation really captured nicely what a long distance ADV ride is all about. I did one of these this summer (2017), 44 days, over 7,000 miles across most of the Western US. I met so many wonderful people, had amazing experiences and felt utterly at home on the road and safe the entire time... I'd love someday to ride across Asia solo, perhaps with a friend... other places around the world as well...'
