It is quite real of course - truth is that SO much more was changed but very few want to talk about some of this - MANY things were changed in the Bible, as example, not just Isaiah 11:6 but what is important about that one in particular is VERY important to understand. Now, I am NOT a Christian but I do have a great deal of knowledge about Christianity, Islam & Judaism. I don't know how nearly ALL of Judaeo / Christianity missed the quintessential point of this verse - The word picture of the Lion laying with the Lamb is NOT just a depiction of peace as is so widely preached, rather and much more importantly is that this word picture is essentially an icon representing Survival being at an end for good! In other words, the current nature of this place, at its fundamental state, is that of Life consuming Life to sustain Life - what we don't consciously think of as Survival. On top of this primitive foundation is our need to work in order to obtain financial trade medium (money) so that we can buy Genetically Modified Food that will kill us eventually - but hey, we are surviving here! - and because we don't hunt anymore in part because we've no idea how to do it and/or the stomach to learn that or farming skills, we trade our time and/or skill for Trade Medium (money) - so essentially money has become deeply synonymous in our collective psyche with survival - the need to eat... Also keep in mind that when I 1st heard about this, the first thing I did was call an elderly friend of mine with a 100+ year old King James Bible - I asked her about the "Lion lays with Lamb" verse and she confirmed her Father had preached & taught this version hundreds of times over 50+ years, what it meant and it's important to us today... I said now, grab your old Bible and look that up for me, I've something disconcerting to show you... She did and all of the sudden it went very quiet on the other end... I called to her "you OK?"... a moment later, in a croaking voice, she said my family Bible now says "...and the wolf will cohabitate with the lamb..." The word picture here is more to the effect that "the pack hunter will forcibly live with the lamb and will snack on them regularly, no longer concerned with survival because, hey, plenty of unconscious, low intelligence sheep around here!"... Now for the major clincher that should bake all your collective noodles - All religious texts have been changed in countless subtle ways, some Not so subtle... From my former business related activities in the Middle East, as example, I asked a former, fairly fundamentalist Muslim friend if it was true that some of the Koran was mysteriously changed? He instantly responded in anger "HOW DID YOU KNOW OF THIS" and then he slammed down the phone and ended the conversation... I have even heard it said by a fairly famous Christian Apologist that "all religious texts are now utterly untrustworthy" - yeah, okay, I already knew that... Of course Christians all refer to the Bible as the "inerrant Word of God" - I don't think that has ever been true but now, it simply can Never be true again, if ever it was... Word has it that even the Satanic Bible has changed... Essentially, it seemed to me, the beginning of the end of all religion and belief... In exchange for what? That's perhaps the bigger, really scary question... Have you noticed that things seem just slightly darker, almost as if we all crossed over into Gotham City or something recently? Perhaps we are all being pushed to evolve or else... Wonder how we might go about that?
